Journeys With My Piano | ||

My spirits low, emotions torn My feet are slow, my body worn, I sit by you, old loyal friend We talk anew and griefs they end. I put my hands upon your board We go to lands so far abroad We travel up into the sphere In Heaven we stop and listen, hear. The voices there go up and up And beauty rare makes my heart stop We feel so bless’d, we feel so new We’ve had our rest, we’re in the crew. We swim in oceans clear and deep And grasp all notions in a sweep The fishes, whales and creatures strange Our kingship hails, confirms its range. We go to lands of mystery By now my hands move rapidly The witchery is powerful A butchery most wonderful. My fingers still run up and down It’s with this skill I flee earth’s frown I barely can keep up the speed, From people’s scan I’m being freed. New energy I seem to own With gaiety I have been flown Round the whole earth and seen each place In heavenly mirth and holy grace. Thank you, old friend, for music’s joys It shan’t have end, shan’t turn to noise, Thank God above, it’s he who thought On us in love and gave the sport. |

Fascinating piano-fantasy-journey! Did you stop at Borneo? Else go there next! And tell ;)
sincerely ...
don't put the . at the end of the last verses. They're not needed!
